Building Maintenance Technician

Your role in our team

  • You will conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance, such as plumbing repairs, electrical, HVAC equipment, painting and carpentry.

  • You will handle basic repairs and maintenance across three (3) buildings.

  • You will ensure building equipment and facilities are in proper working order and available for use.

  • You will respond with a sense of urgency to work orders and ensure problems are resolved quickly and efficiently.

  • You will assist in developing and performing preventive maintenance for buildings and equipment.

  • You will ensure safety standards are performed throughout our facilities.

  • You will ensure proper inventory levels of supplies are on hand and available as needed.

  • You will perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Your profile

  • You have a High School Diploma or GED, with at least two (2) years of related experience and training

  • You have proven maintenance experience

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow you to provide a quality customer service for internal and external clients

  • You have solid organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills

  • You are able to handle the physical demands, such as, prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout facility; bending, lifting, climbing, crawling to maintain equipment; performing work in a variety of weather conditions, including inclement weather.

  • You are able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • You are able to safely operate hand and power tools

  • You have experience in HVAC and electrical maintenance (preferred)
