Your role in our team

We are looking for a Junior Automation Engineer with expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and EPLAN to join our team. 
You will receive training to master our powerful tools, however, it is important to have already acquired knowledge in PLC programming and the ability to understand and create electrical diagrams as well of EPLAN systems. 
As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, programming, and implementing automation solutions for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, PLC programming, and EPLAN design software.

Main Responsibilities:

Be responsible for drawing of circuit diagrams, installation, and cable planning creation.

Execute maintenance and update of EPLAN systems, standardized projects for engineering design and drawings.

Develop PLC software and HMI scenes for our products.

Create and maintain configuration worksheets for products to decrease the time needed for project development.

Work closely with the mechanical team to integrate hardware and software into the development of new products.

Prepare operation and user support manuals.

PLC Programming:

Develop and program PLC systems to control and automate manufacturing equipment and processes.

Write and troubleshoot ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text programs.

EPLAN Design:

Utilize EPLAN software to create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for automation systems.

Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in electrical design.

Documentation:

Prepare comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, wiring diagrams, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions.

Required Skills:

Educational Background:

Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - Automation Profile.

PLC Programming Skills:

Proficiency in programming PLCs using languages such as ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text.

Experience with leading PLC brands such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric.

EPLAN Design Skills:

Strong proficiency in EPLAN software for electrical design and documentation.

Ability to create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.

Problem-Solving Abilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation systems.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Your Profile

Degree in Electrotechnical Engineering,  Automation Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Proficient in PLC programming languages and programming and interface design.
Strong understanding of electricity/ automation control systems, motion control, and industrial automation technologies.
Eplan is a plus
MS Office
Verbal and written fluency in English.
