Your role in our team

 

  • You lead your team professionally and disciplinarily, promote team development in a modern leadership culture, and derive targeted measures from development potential
  • You play a key role in shaping the Business Unit’s strategy and maintain high visibility with top management
  • Your area of responsibility includes the management, operationalization, and evaluation of strategic growth initiatives for new business development
  • Identifying and assessing new industries and markets in terms of technology transfer potential is a core responsibility
  • You design, implement, and evaluate MVP projects and new business ventures, analyzing profitability, market opportunities, customer access, and barriers to entry
  • The role involves identifying relevant potential customers, developing suitable outreach approaches, and engaging them in a targeted manner
  • You evaluate project successes and market opportunities and derive well-founded go-to-market strategies from them
  • Close and effective collaboration with key internal stakeholders across functions is essential in this position

 

Your profile

 

  • You hold a degree in business administration or engineering (DQR level 7) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role are required, ideally within a corporate strategy function or strategy consultancy
  • You have practical experience in business plan modelling, M&A, and post-merger integration
  • Developing long-term product and business strategies in alignment with overall company objectives comes naturally to you
  • Ideally, your background includes time working abroad or within a highly international environment
  • You have a strong understanding of pricing strategies, margins, ROI, and profitability calculations
  • You already have experience in the functional or disciplinary management and development of teams
  • You combine excellent analytical skills with a strategic mindset and a high level of creativity
  • Confident communication across all levels of an organization is one of your strengths
  • You have gained experience working with international customers across the full sales and project lifecycle
  • You are business-fluent in English
  • A high willingness to travel (≥ 50%) is required for this role
  • Openness to change, a future-oriented mindset, and strong innovation capabilities round off your profile
