Körber Technologies, Inc.  a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for an Electrical Assembler.

 

 

Your role in our team

  • You will work independently to assemble, repair, test, and maintain electrical/electronic components and equipment for manufactured products and plant facilities ensuring quality workmanship and meet production schedules
  • You will assemble, dismantle, and test electrical/electronic components.
  • You will repair electrical/electronic equipment, including the cleaning of parts returned by customers
  • You will test all electrical/electronic equipment, including ground-fault and current draw testing
  • You will perform duties associated with assembly of prototype equipment.
  • You will operate material handling equipment as well as machine, power, and hand tools
  • You will complete assembly of printed circuit boards and/or writing of panels using engineering prints

 

 

Your profile

  • You are able to either sit for an eight-hour shift or work in awkward positions installing electrical/electronic components. You are able to climb in, on, and under machines
  • You are a high school graduate with vocational training in an electrical/electronic discipline or have equivalent experience
  • You have at least three (3) years’ experience in panel wiring/printed circuit boards and/or complex electrical/electronic assembly, with good mechanical and analytical abilities
  • You are able to use complex electrical/electronic schematics, and be able to work with color-coded cables
