Hauni Richmond, Inc., a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Sales Manager/Digital to join our team. As a Sales Manager/Digital, you will be working in the Sales Department with a team of experienced Sales Managers serving our customers’ requirements. You will identify sales opportunities and execute sales for Tobacco Division products and services, promoting their sales by serving as the primary customer contact for all commercial and technical issues.


Your role in our team

  • You will develop and manage business relationships and opportunities, by inspiring customers’ digital demands or understanding needs and pain points, promoting the value proposition, digital solutions and services of Hauni Digital, with the best possible prices and business models.
  • You will sell digital solutions and services at multiple customer levels, up to executive and management levels (including direct activities in C-Suite selling).
  • You will promote and sell bundles of solutions and service programs in field of digital for long- term contracts along the value and supply chain.
  • You will gather intelligence at customers, understanding also technical issues and opportunities, to support growth of product pipelines and their features.
  • You will ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring expectations, triggering continuous feedback including complaints for continuous improvement, new offerings and innovations.
  • You will generate sales budget and forecast, setting and tracking account targets and figures.
  • You will ensure budgeting, KPIs and reporting figures are consistent and delivered timely.
  • You will conduct planning autonomously and efficiently, customer visits and contacts.
  • You will have the ability and know-how to provide sales trainings on digital portfolio, solutions and customer-oriented services.
  • You can act with confidence as digital technical and industry expert in impactful presentations and demos, to share and collect needs and proposals and accelerate business and time to value, adapting rapidly deployable solutions whenever possible.
  • You can clearly define and gather customers’ priorities and requirements and specifications for internal uses, to ensure timely and effective evaluations, at operational and strategic levels.
  • You can manage commercial aspects of orders, including order acknowledgement, resolution of open issues, invoicing, collection of payments, terms and conditions, change requests.
  • You can provide timely reports with confident use of CRM and other software suites such as SAP.
  • You will suggest or contribute to actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth, thanks also to a clear understanding of the competitive and marketing landscape, segmentations and practices.
  • You will develop go-to-market strategies for digital initiatives from a consulting and agile approach to strict Rfi/RfQ opportunities and documentation with internal and external partners if required.
  • You will operate in alignment with counterparts in other locations, including communication and participation in matrix organization’s meetings.


Your profile

  • You are a college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field like IT, Science, or equivalent education and experience. Your academic background with computer science software development or similar is preferred.
  • You have a proven track record in selling enterprise software and digital solutions, with successful business and revenue models.
  • You have comprehensive understanding of Information and Computer Technology field, and extensive experience in Digital Ecosystems.
  • You have extensive experience record with B2B and industrial applications, with understanding in machinery, process or discrete manufacturing, possibly in multiple sectors.
  • You have knowledge about Digitization and IoT, technology stacks, cloud-based solutions, AI applications and offerings, to lead discussions about ICT, security, data.
  • You have a proven track record of understanding, consulting and acting in digital ecosystem.
  • You have experience about relevant and fast-changing market dynamics and trends in Lean and Digital transformation journeys and environments.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You have international business experience and customer relationship management skills.
  • You have the ability to apply and innovate best practices in commercial tasks for the represented products or markets.
  • Your skills include: MS Office, SAP, Data analytics tools or other relevant software, strong English skills, intercultural awareness
