Körber Technologies Inc. a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Sales Manager Services to join our team.  As the Sales Manager Services, you will be working in the Services Department with a team of experienced sales professionals and technicians serving our customers’ services requirements.


Your role in our team

  • You will sell services products and solutions and work out additional potential with our customers
  • You will build a strong customer relationship and maintain that relationship with your assigned customers
  • You will proactively and reactively advise customers on the operation and modernization of their installed base, with the aim of acquiring services business (spares, services, conversions, subassembly repair, rebuild). Tasks include appropriate stakeholder management and professional customer communication (verbal, written)
  • You will regularly visit and work with customers' production plants and headquarters to proactively acquire, negotiate and maintain excellent customer relationships; incl. necessary follow-up, e.g. preparation of travel reports
  • You will internalize our customers' strategy (with focus on operations and installed base) and derive acquisition opportunities for services business
  • You will create client development plans related to services business and lead their implementation
  • You will develop and acquire customer-specific solutions in the areas of spare parts supply chain, maintenance, modernization, training, TIPs/rebuilds up to digital solutions
  • You will prepare, negotiate and close the resulting business transactions, in particular preparing and negotiating offers, giving presentations, conducting meetings and workshops, drawing up contracts, etc.
  • You will apply challenger sale methodology in the acquisition process.
  • You will assist in the monitoring of contractually agreed performance levels and taking corrective action where necessary.
  • You will regularly plan and track incoming orders Services (e.g. GST quarterly planning)
  • You will regularly discover and define acquisition potentials and document their progress (Lead & Opportunity Management)
  • You will work closely with all interfaces involved (mainly Services, Global Sales, Secondary, Digital)
  • You will support active receivables management
  • You will deliver Service Input to Agent Management in Global Sales & Account
  • You will have management responsibilities and take over tasks of an account manager if necessary



Your profile

  • You have a commercial/technical education
  • You have 3-5 years of work experience
  • You have three years of experience in B2B sales of service products and solutions
  • Your additional qualifications may include technical specialist, business economist (academy), technician/master craftsman
  • You have sufficient knowledge of contract law to be able to conclude contracts and adapt contract templates
  • You have knowledge of industrial supply chain concepts and the relevant optimization approaches
  • You possess open-mindedness towards modern IT topics and digitalization
  • You are open minded and have a sales affinity
  • You are fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • You have foreign trade knowledge and knowledge of foreign markets
  • You possess negotiation skills and negotiating power
  • You have knowledge of our customers' production and the relevant optimization approaches, e.g. OEE, LEAN
  • You have knowledge of asset management / maintenance concepts and the relevant optimization approaches
  • You have strong business skills  
  • You have a confident appearance, strength in communication and presentation, persuasiveness
  • You have solid knowledge of the current MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • You have knowledge of the Körber Technologies/Hauni Group product portfolio
