Körber Technologies, Inc., a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Stockroom Manager to join our team. As a Stockroom Manager, you will lead inventory management, drive professional development, and optimize stockroom processes. Your role in our team

  • You will coordinate, plan, and schedule workload distribution for department’s employees to meet schedules for departmental and company objectives.
  • You will organize workload to ensure that shipping schedules are met.
  • You will independently lead, guide, and direct employees in your functional area of responsibility and ensure ongoing professional development of employees.
  • You will lead, advise, and instruct employees in the performance of their job responsibilities.
  • You will maintain necessary programs to ensure continuous improvement of processes and procedures in area(s) of responsibility.
  • You will ensure that a neat and orderly stockroom and receiving area are maintained.
  • You will project a leadership style that maximizes manpower productivity.
  • You will keep management informed on matters affecting departmental efficiency.
  • You will carry out the programs and policies enacted by management.
  • You will act as management's representative in employee relations and procedures.
  • You will organize, lead, and manage the stockroom activities to achieve efficient and economic methods of materials and parts receiving, shipping, and distribution.
  • You will draft and maintain monthly reports on the productivity of the stockroom.
  • You will maintain accuracy levels of inventory for both plants cycle count.
  • You will coordinate freight packaging /shipping of machinery with carrier and sales.
  • You will book sea / air freight of machinery with broker.

 

Your profile

  • You have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Your associate degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • You have at least five years of stockroom experience, three of which must have been in a supervisory position.
  • You are able to maintain effective employee relations.
  • You have working knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel and Access).
  • Your experience working with SAP is preferred.
  • You have personal and professional ability to lead people.
