What you’ll be doing.

We are looking for an experienced Product Design practitioner who is ready to embark with us into an unchartered territory. For the manufacturing space we define emergent design practices and bring thoughtful design to new user groups who are increasingly adapting digital applications as part of their daily work. As part of our team, you will design holistic user experiences and tackle new complex challenges for global manufacturing companies. Your work will help empower our users to achieve improved production performance and efficiency, leading to potential economic and sustainability gains.

Design our product.

  • You are a key part of our design team and responsible for the design of our product through all its lifecycle stages.
  • You participate in and facilitate discussions with stakeholders, and you ensure that design topics remain a top priority within key product decisions. 
     

Lead end-to-end design process.
 

  • You explore the problems space to define how to modify and evolve our products to become the best in industry. 
  • You uncover and solve complex problems for our users through research. You turn insights into useful ideas, and ideas into useable features by focusing on both UX and UI.
  • You design the product down to the last pixel and vector.
  • You apply and further develop our design system.
  • You create low to high fidelity prototypes (with Figma).

 

Accompany the entire product life cycle.
 

  • You support and collaborate with the developers, product owners and QA experts in the development process to ensure that the quality of implementation meets design requirements.
  • You conduct heuristic evaluations and run usability tests to continuously improve the product.

 

Your profile 

 

You will design for a variety of manufacturing environments, production processes and human-machine interactions. As such, your role entails understanding, resolving, and designing for complex scenarios and making machine data accessible and actionable for our different user groups.
 

  • 2+ years of product design experience (preferably B2B).
  • Experience in designing and shipping for web and mobile applications
  • Sound experience with Figma and confident in working with Design Systems
  • Interest in technical intricacies of B2B solutions and drive to learning about factory production processes
  • Intense curiosity about people, an empathetic mindset and willingness to do user research trips and meet the people we design for on factory shop floors
  • Proficient in understanding the business perspective of your craft and experience in aligning Product Design with overall understanding of the business, its goals and challenges.
  • Ability to independently structure and manage your workload in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Fluency in English and German is a must
