Job Title:
Solution Engineer – Center of Excellence (m/f/d) - Junior/Mid level

What you will be responsible for
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy junior solution engineer to join our Center of Excellence (CoE) for Machine Connectivity. This role is ideal for young professionals who are passionate about IoT, Cloud and Edge computing technologies, and eager to gain hands-on experience in an innovative industrial environment.
• Assist in developing and implementing machine connectivity solutions and blueprints.
• Support research and development activities within the CoE, focusing on the latest trends in IoT and edge computing.
• Collaborate in the preparation and maintenance of documentation, including technical guides, project reports, and training materials.
• Participate in the organization of workshops and exchange sessions, contributing to knowledge and best practice dissemination within the company.
• Cooperate with peers across the entire organization on joint initiatives.
• Engage with various team members for project planning and execution.
• Provide administrative and technical support to the CoE team as needed.

What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, or equivalent relative experience.
• A foundational understanding of IoT, cloud computing, and/or edge computing.
• Basic programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript or similar.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:
• Knowledge of Docker, Cloud Computing (Azure or another Cloud provider
• Exposure to automation and Infrastructure as Code technologies like terraform or ansible
• Understanding of Industrial protocols OPC-UA,eth/IP)
• Knowledge in Linux administration and maintenance
