Role Summary:
We are seeking a student to energize our data science & data engineering community by planning small events, curating newsletters, and driving communications. You'll gather feedback, turn ideas into action, and collaborate with external technology providers.
If you’re passionate about data science/data engineering, enjoy discussing technical topics, and thrive on building connections, this role offers a chance to engage with a cross-industry community, interact with technology providers, and explore cutting-edge advancements.
Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Actively engage and foster a sense of connection within the data science / data engineering community.
- Event Planning: Organize and coordinate data science-related events, both in-house and with external technology providers.
- Content Creation: Curate newsletters and communications dedicated to data science / data engineering topics, ensuring timely and relevant updates for the community.
- Feedback Management: Collect feedback and input from the community, analyze it, and translate it into actionable initiatives.
- Discussion Facilitation: Participate in and encourage conversations around data science / data engineering, technical tools, and related topics.
- Technology Collaboration: Exchange with technology providers to identify opportunities for community engagement.
- Learning & Innovation: Stay updated on state-of-the-art data science / data engineering topics and share insights with the community.
Your Profile
- Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program, preferably in data science, computer science, engineering, or a related field or other with a strong interest in technology and data topics.
- Passion for Data Science : Strong interest in data science, -analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
- Community Mindset: A natural networker with an enthusiasm for fostering connections and collaboration.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with data science tools, platforms, and trends is a plus.
- Creativity: Innovative thinker who can craft engaging content and activities to inspire the community.
