Hauni Richmond, Inc., a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be working in the Sales Department with a team of experienced Sales Managers serving our customers’ requirements. You will identify sales opportunities and execute sales for Tobacco Division products and services, promoting their sales by serving as the primary customer contact for all commercial and technical issues.


Your role in our team

  • You will assist in the development and execution of market plan for the sale of Tobacco Division products for assigned accounts.
  • You are responsible for preparation of quotes for partially overhauled machines and answer worldwide requests for information on this business line. You will follow up internally on technical details of overhauled machinery.
  • You will update system to reflect all order potential and quote information including scheduling, order income date, shipping date, and delivery date.
  • You will generate quotations that meet customer expectations and comply with company technical and commercial requirements under managerial guidance. You will provide quotations for subassemblies and parts and services for both Hauni Richmond and Hauni Germany.
  • You will acquire orders for all Tobacco Division products. You will prepare contracts, conduct business negotiations and close contracts. You will maintain customer relationships externally for assigned account and promote customer technical and other needs within the organization. You will generate final specifications for orders aligning commercial, technical, and production needs.
  • You will assume responsibility and maintain oversight and awareness of entire order from onset through shipping and delivery and intervene where required.
  • You will coordinate after-sales service for assigned accounts and assigned technical specialties. You will respond as necessary to any customer requests/complaints regarding Tobacco Division machinery.
  • You will provide information to Marketing Department/Manager, Sales necessary to understanding U.S. market needs, both current needs and potential for new products.
  • You will coordinate, as necessary, arrangements regarding customer visits to local sales office, or headquarters. Host and maintain responsibility for the customer during such visits.
  • You will conduct market observation for new business partners, competitive information, and market trends.


Your profile

  • You are a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
  • You have a strong aptitude for commercial side of business or B.S. degree in Business with strong technical aptitude
  • You have exposure to high-speed processing equipment as well as an ability to interpret electrical/mechanical concepts
  • You are an effective communicator
  • You are proficient use of personal computer and Microsoft Office package
  • You are experienced with or have exposure to SAP
  • You have three to five years of business and sales experience preferably with capital goods
