Are you a commercially driven professional with a strong technical understanding and experience in international B2B sales? Do you thrive in long and complex sales processes and enjoy working with advanced solutions? Then you might be our new Area Sales Manager at Körber Supply Chain.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in our sales team, where you will be responsible for developing and driving sales activities across international markets. You will work with complex and specialized solutions within intralogistics and automation and contribute to creating value for our customers through strong relationships and professional advisory. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies for international markets, building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers, and managing long and complex sales cycles from initial contact through to contract signing.
You will be responsible for presenting and positioning technical niche products to relevant stakeholders and identifying customer needs while translating technical solutions into clear commercial value. Furthermore, you will:
• Participate in negotiations, contracts, partnership agreements, and framework agreements
• Travel for customer visits, trade fairs, and partner meetings (approximately 30–40 days per year)
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as engineering, project management, and leadership to ensure a strong customer experience.
We are looking for a candidate with international B2B sales experience, preferably within technical industries. Knowledge of or interest in intralogistics, automation, or related technical fields is considered an advantage. You have experience with long sales processes and complex decision-making structures, as well as a good understanding of contracts, partnership agreements, and commercial terms. Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
As a person, you are technically curious and motivated to understand customer operations and solutions in depth. You have a strong customer focus and the ability to build trust across cultures and markets. You are structured, persistent, and comfortable working with long decision cycles. You are flexible with working hours due to global customer interactions and are self-driven, proactive, and skilled at prioritizing in a dynamic environment with many parallel activities.
