Körber Supply Chain are looking for a strong and motivating Head of Mechanical Engineering who can lead our department to the next level.  

As Head of Mechanical Engineering you will take on the overall responsibility for our Mechanical Engineering department combine people leadership, technical insight, and strategic direction to ensure that we continue to deliver high-quality solutions – on time and at scale. Together with your team, you will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art solutions to our customers.  

You will lead a competent and engaged team of 13 employees and report directly to the Regional Director Project Execution. Your responsibilities will include leadership, resource management, and the continuous development of the department.

•    Overall responsibility for the department’s deliveries to customer projects
•    Development of the department through clear and visionary leadership
•    Continuous engagement with both internal and external stakeholders
•    Providing technical leadership and supporting the professional development of the team
•    Sparring and problem-solving on specific customer projects
•    Ensuring compliance with and continuous improvement of the quality management system
•    Securing qualified support across the entire value chain, including Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and more

In this role, you will hold a central position with excellent opportunities to contribute to the development of future automation solutions. You will have significant influence on the development of the department and become part of the Project Execution leadership team, working closely with colleagues across the organization and maintaining a broad interface throughout the company.

We expect that you have an educational background as an engineer, marine engineer, or similar, combined with solid experience in mechanical design. You possess strong system understanding, and experience from a similar industry and/or leadership role would be considered an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
