Project Manager
Körber Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Product Sales (PS) business. You will lead complex projects and act as the primary point of contact, ensuring delivery in line with Körber Supply Chain’s Project Excellence framework, quality standards, and contractual commitments in close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
You will plan and manage 7–12 parallel projects using a structured Stage-Gate model, defined milestones, and controlled scope. Project durations typically range from 12 to 48 months, requiring the ability to manage projects at different stages simultaneously. You will be responsible for schedules, budgets, risk management, and change control. You will work closely with Sales on contracts and change requests and use SAP to manage forecasts and financial performance.
You will align cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, software, and assembly disciplines, ensuring effective collaboration, constructive conflict resolution, and strong stakeholder alignment. Clear communication and trust-building with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders are essential, including delivery of concise, decision-ready status reporting throughout the project lifecycle. You also need to be able to:
• Possess a solid understanding of technical content in order to ask the right questions and translate effectively between engineering teams and business stakeholders.
• Provide customers with confidence in project delivery through clear, professional communication and sound technical judgement.
• Maintain high standards in accordance with quality requirements and Körber Supply Chain’s Quality Management System.
• Ensure structured documentation processes, including RAMS, FAT/SAT, quality plans, and change requests, to guarantee full traceability and compliance.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of +5 years of solid project management experience, including proven responsibility for complex international customer projects. You have a documented track record of leading multidisciplinary automation, logistics, or intralogistics projects across borders, cultures, and regulatory environments, and you are fully comfortable acting as the primary commercial and contractual interface towards international customers.
Proven coordinating skills and the ability to motivate and align cross-functional teams are essential. Knowledge of logistics and automation systems, including PLC, WCS/WMS software, and mechanical design, combined with a structured, results-oriented, professional, and decisive approach, is an advantage. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong personal drive, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments are critical.
Additional strengths, including experience with international projects, travel experience, health and safety knowledge, and additional language skills such as Spanish, will be considered valuable assets.
The role involves travel, with approximately 50–75 days per year expected.
