Quality Engineer
We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. The position plays a key role in maintaining and further developing our Quality and Management System, ensuring continued compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. You will be an important driver of our QHSE culture, combining structure, technical insight, and practical decision-making.
Your responsibilities
As Quality Engineer, your main responsibility will be to maintain and develop the management system (RIQO), ensuring compliance with relevant certifications and standards. You will be responsible for keeping process and procedure descriptions up to date, following up on non-conformity reports, and participating in root cause analysis and:
• Promote risk-based thinking across the organization
• Perform and support risk assessments
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes
• Plan and conduct internal audits
• Support external certification audits and ISO renewals
• Participate in supplier development and, when relevant, supplier audit
In addition, you will support training and awareness initiatives related to quality and QHSE, helping build and maintain a strong quality culture through training sessions and internal ambassadors (RIQO agents). You may also be involved in sales, tender, and project start-up phases, ensuring quality requirements are incorporated early. Part of the role includes basic EHS-related tasks and registrations, including use of SAP.
As part of your authority, you are expected to stop unsafe or environmentally harmful activities, when necessary, make decisions related to the management system, and escalate critical nonconformities to management. In this role, you will work closely with the Quality Manager and collaborate across the organization, supporting projects, operations, and employees with quality-related matters.
Your background
You have at least 3–5 years of experience working with quality management in an industrial environment and solid experience as an internal auditor. Knowledge of ISO 9001 is required, and experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is strongly preferred. Technical and hands-on experience from the metal industry or similar production environments is considered an advantage. Familiarity with SAP is beneficial.
