Purpose of the Role
As Process Lead for IT Applications, you are accountable for all internal IT processes within the IT Applications domain, overseeing a team of approximately 120 employees located in Hamburg, Porto, and Pécs, …. You drive optimization, standardization, transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all processes to ensure stable, scalable, and future-ready IT operations. With a strong agile mindset, passion for shaping the future, and hands-on leadership, you enable the teams to deliver high-quality IT services and products that support business success.
Key Responsibilities
Process Ownership & Governance
- Own, design, and continuously improve all internal IT processes within the domain of IT Applications.
- Ensure process alignment across different locations and promote a unified operating model.
- Establish clear governance frameworks, KPIs, and performance tracking for all process areas.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL principles and internal policies.
- Introduce KANBAN Flightlevel - based on Atlassian Jira - as leading methodology to reach transparency and steerability
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, inspire, and develop 120 employees across multiple teams and competency areas.
- Foster an agile, collaborative, and high-performing culture.
- Promote empowerment, transparency, and ownership across all teams.
- Ensure effective workforce planning, talent development, and succession readiness.
Agile & Continuous Improvement
- Strongly promote agile values (focus, openness, commitment, respect, courage) across the organization.
- Introduce and mature agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, Retros, Planning, etc.).
- Drive an environment of continuous improvement, learning, experimentation, and innovation.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure stable, efficient, and reliable IT processes to support business-critical applications.
- Manage escalations, risk mitigation, process bottlenecks, and cross-location dependencies.
- Enable seamless collaboration between IT operations, project teams, and business stakeholders.
- Establish a new demand process together with different Business Areas
- Develop and maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction.
Change & Transformation Leadership
- Drive change management initiatives to support new ways of working, process redesigns, and organizational shifts.
- Communicate complex topics clearly to all stakeholder levels.
- Ensure adoption, engagement, and alignment during transformation phases.
- Act as a role model for assertiveness, solution orientation, and proactive decision-making.
Profile
Experience & Skills
- Several years of experience in IT process management and IT leadership
- Strong understanding of ITIL, agile methods, and modern IT delivery models.
- Proven leadership experience in multi-location or international environments.
- Ability to guide large teams and manage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Assertiveness combined with empathy and strong communication skills.
- Act as moderator, mediator or coach depending on the situation
- High resilience and motivation to shape the future of IT applications.

Additional Qualifications
