Role: Information Security Specialist

At Körber, we are committed to safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring the highest level of security for our clients and employees. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Information Security Specialist to join our dynamic team and help us maintain and enhance our security posture.

As part of the Security Governance team, you will support the Group's businesses in the implementation of the security strategy, define security policies, monitor compliance and implement employee training and awareness activities.
You will support us with your expertise in the following areas:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments, and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on security best practices and protocols.
• Prepare and present reports on security status and incidents to management.
• Evaluate and verify the security of suppliers used across the company

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST).
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
