Your Role in our Team

We are looking for a team player who enjoys challenges, applies critical thinking, and has strong technical skills to help our organization adopt the Microsoft 365 suite at an enterprise level. As a Mid Senior Systems Engineer supporting the M365 Platform, you are responsible for the design, build, and delivery of scalable Microsoft Office 365 solutions. This position has a strong focus on enterprise-level M365 Platform operations, including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online. The role also provides opportunities to work across other Microsoft 365 services and infrastructure technologies.

  • You act as a Mid Senior Engineer within the M365 Enterprise Platform team and supporting technologies.
  • You leverage extensive knowledge of M365 and other Microsoft technologies, solutions, and methodologies to engineer, design, and provide technical recommendations for M365 Modern Workplace, Security, and Compliance initiatives.
  • You assist in planning the enterprise M365 platform vision and roadmap for the organization.
  • You develop and maintain best practices to ensure successful deployments and high productivity for users of the M365 Platform.
  • You collaborate with members of the IT Infrastructure team and other stakeholders to align M365 services, applications, and features with business requirements and deliver solutions that surpass expectations.
  • You evaluate and provide technical recommendations in other areas of the M365 Platform as assigned.
  • You employ an approach that utilizes repeatable and efficient processes, automation, and best practices.
  • You think beyond current solutions to identify improvements, new opportunities, and optimizations for existing processes and tools.
  • You utilize a proactive and preventative maintenance and support approach, including monitoring and health checks, to minimize business disruptions.
  • You assist Level 1 and Level 2 support teams by providing technical assistance, reference documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • You provide management escalation support for issues related to the Microsoft 365 environment.

Your Profile

Knowledge & Technical Experience

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of four years of hands-on experience with Office/M365 platform technologies, including Exchange, OneDrive, Active Directory, Enterprise Apps, Power Platform, Outlook, Teams, Security & Compliance, and SharePoint Online.
  • You demonstrate knowledge of PowerShell, including commands and scripting.
  • Knowledge of AI-powered productivity tools within Microsoft 365, such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and related technologies, is considered a strong plus.
  • Experience migrating Microsoft on-premises products to online services is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience administering and supporting Office/M365 technologies such as OneDrive, Windows 10, Office/Enterprise Apps, Outlook, and Endpoint Management/Intune is preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications, or equivalent certifications, are considered a plus, including:
    • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
    • Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator
