Senior AI Engineer

The Senior AI Engineer designs, builds, and operates AI-powered solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Security Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot Studio. The role combines hands-on AI and automation engineering with deep expertise in Microsoft security and endpoint management platforms, delivering scalable, secure, and production-ready AI agents and Copilot solutions across the organization.

 

 

Your role in our team

 

AI & Copilot Solution Engineering:

  • Design, build, and deploy AI agents and Copilot solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Azure AI services.
  • Develop custom plugins, connectors, and prompt engineering strategies to extend Copilot capabilities to enterprise scenarios.
  • Build orchestration logic and grounding strategies that allow AI agents to safely execute actions across devices, services, and platforms.
  • Prototype, test, and iterate on generative AI solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and quality of outputs.

 

Endpoint & Security AI:

  • Implement and configure Security Copilot capabilities and agents (e.g. policy configuration, vulnerability remediation, device offboarding) to strengthen enterprise security posture.
  • Integrate AI-driven automation with Microsoft Intune for device compliance, configuration policies, and endpoint lifecycle management.
  • Partner with security operations and IT infrastructure teams to embed AI-driven insights into endpoint and identity management workflows.
  • Support threat detection, risk assessment, and remediation scenarios using Security Copilot and Microsoft Defender data.

 

Platform & Integration Engineering:

  • Build integrations across Microsoft 365, Azure AI, Intune, and Copilot Studio using APIs, connectors, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Evaluate emerging Microsoft AI capabilities (Copilot agents, Security Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Foundry) and recommend adoption paths.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture, data, and platform teams to ensure solutions align with technology standards and integration patterns.
  • Automate reusable components and workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.

 

Governance, Security & Enablement:

  • Ensure AI solutions comply with responsible AI, data governance, privacy, and enterprise security requirements.
  • Support model governance, monitoring, telemetry, and operational reliability of deployed AI agents.
  • Document AI solution patterns, prompting strategies, and evaluation frameworks for reuse across projects.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to internal teams to drive AI adoption and best practices.

 

Your profile

 

  • 5+ years of experience in AI, software, or platform engineering roles, with a strong focus on the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Security Copilot, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AI services (incl. Azure OpenAI), and endpoint/device management architectures.
  • Experience with API integrations, connectors, and automation using the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Familiarity with responsible AI, data governance, and security/privacy requirements for AI and automation solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Master's degree desirable.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, Security Copilot / Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript advantageous.
