Your role in our team

As a senior leader in our team, you are responsible to lead FactoryPal's digital manufacturing programs and you are accountable to drive significant OEE improvements jointly with and for our customers. You are the key point-of-contact between our customers - leading manufacturing companies - and FactoryPal, leading operational excellence / lean process programs underpinned by cutting-edge smart manufacturing solutions. In this role, you report to the Vice President Operations and jointly with him and the leadership team you strategically as well as tactically develop the scope and depth of the consulting offering.

 

  • You and your team unlock the full potential of process improvements by consequently combining lean management with data & tech-driven process optimization based on FactoryPal's shop-floor apps.
  • You deliver Digital Manufacturing programs in time, budget and quality through a project excellence approach.
  • You acquire, onboard, and guide FactoryPal's customers and their digitization initiatives in the manufacturing industry – from the Factory leadership up to C-Level contacts.
  • You create and sustain deep and trustworthy relationships with your customer counterparts in Operations & Technology leadership roles – e.g. VP Operations, COO, Factory Leaders – while you also easily maneuver in a shopfloor environment.
  • You pragmatically bridge the gap between factory team requirements and the product and development teams to strategically form the product roadmap based on your deep and broad Operations Management expertise.
  • You build, collaborate and orchestrate highly-innovative, multidisciplinary teams to validate innovative concepts and digital solutions being developed for the factory shop-floor.
  • You act as FactoryPal’s consulting thought-leader, facilitating the development and improvement of processes and methodology while also driving the sharing of best-practices across consulting teams and the organization.

 

 

Your Profile

  • You have a master’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • You have grown your leadership, managerial and content skills successfully in a consulting environment or a similar technology-driven business transformation context for more than 7 years and have led and developed teams for more than 4 years.
  • You have taken leadership responsibility for an organization / team in a Consulting or an Operations environment before and represent key success factors to build and grow an organization in every step you take.
  • You delivered successfully business transformation programs with a budget / contract value of €5-10M in a leadership position, taking accountability and responsibility to deliver promised results and business value.
  • You know what it takes to conduct and share results from performance reviews for your programs/projects or team/organization in a board setting.
  • You have succeeded in process improvement, lean consulting, and operational excellence initiatives in the production/ manufacturing environment - ideally, with a focus on process industry and continuous manufacturing.
  • You have a proven track record in applying methodologies such as lean management, kaizen, 6S or continuous improvement and combining them with the latest tech trends & developments in lean & process consulting, industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing.
  • Your experience grants you a solid understanding of systems, processes, and technologies on the shop floor.
  • You thrive for Operational Excellence and pair it with a deep interest in IoT, industrial automation, digital production, smart manufacturing and industry 4.0.
  • Your strong communication skills allow you to easily share technical concepts to business & customer stakeholders at all levels.
  • You are ready to quickly take on increased responsibility in the Operations leadership team as we grow and develop the business.
  • You easily apply Office productivity and communication tools such as Office 365, Slack, and Miro.
  • Your English is fluent and you speak at least one other European language.
  • You have the ability to travel up to 50%
