Business Analyst - Strategy & Transformation

General Objective of Role:

  • Lead and support the development, formulation, and mobilization of Körber Supply Chain’s strategy.
  • Actively shape strategic initiatives that drive transformation and growth in line with the overall strategy.
  • Steer, track and monitor on the implementation and execution of strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Support the firm’s inorganic growth objectives through active involvement in M&A activities and initiatives.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making by providing relevant analyses, insights, and recommendations to leadership.

 

Your role in our teams:

  •  Develop clear, concise, and actionable strategy documents, presentations, and reports for various stakeholders.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitor analyses to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities within the warehouse automation industry.
  • Drive the preparation, design, and execution of strategic projects from ideation through to implementation.
  • Track progress against strategic goals; design and monitor KPIs.
  • Gather and analyze business performance data to evaluate the impact of strategy execution and coordinate steering meetings, and project updates.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic initiatives align with company priorities and are steered to successful outcomes.
  • Support identification and screening of potential M&A targets in line with business strategy.
  • Assist in preparing investment memos and presentation materials for M&A decision-making by executive leadership.
  • Support business case development, and valuation analysis for potential acquisitions.

 

 Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
  • 3–7 years of experience in strategy or transformation consulting or within relevant industries (e.g., factory automation, warehouse automation), with proven multi‑project management experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • High numerical and financial literacy, including confidence working with commercial, operational, and financial KPIs.
  • Solid project and process management skills, with experience working in and preferably leading cross‑functional projects.
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities, including excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and material‑preparation skills.
  • High level of integrity, a strong sense of urgency, and a results‑oriented mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high curiosity, and a proactive approach.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% within the APAC region.
