Quality Control Engineer (ISO GPS & CMM Specialist)
In compliance to ISO standards 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2023
Your role in our team:
- Develop and validate CMM programs for high-precision components, interpret engineering drawings per ISO GPS/DIN EN ISO geometrical tolerancing rules.
- Develop Inspection Control Plans, Measurement Protocols and WI tailored to complex or tight-tolerance components.
- Work closely with global Quality team on inspection protocol alignment, ensuring consistency and best practices.
- Work along with SCQM team to assess supplier measurement capability (equipment, systems, competency gaps) and support the supplier development actions to improve measurement capability.
- Train suppliers and internal team on CMM, ISO GPS concepts, drawing interpretation, and measurement techniques.
- Develop training materials, SOPs, and measurement guidelines.
- Support IQC troubleshooting for complex measurements or discrepancies.
- Collaborate across engineering, production and suppliers to resolve dimensional issues.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Min. 5 years working experience in QC and dimensional metrology.
- Hands-on CMM measurement, strong CMM programming and operation (experience in Zeiss Calypso is a plus)
- Solid command of ISO GPS (ISO1101, ISO 8015, ISO 14405, DIN EN ISO)
- Experience with machining, metal precision parts or equipment manufacturing.
- Familiarity with wide-range metrology tools for high-precision parts.
- MSA (GR&R) and calibration knowledge.
- Strong collaboration with Engineering, Production and Quality.
- Strong training capability and team guidance.
- Good communication skills.
- Exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing or pharma-related quality system is an advantage.
- Proactive and team player.
- Able to travel in-and outside of Malaysia with valid driving license.
