As an Internal Auditor at Körber Group, you'll be an integral part of our Internal Audit team. Your primary objective will be to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting activities, adding significant value to enhance the efficiency of our operations. Collaborating with your peers, you'll adopt a systematic approach to evaluate and improve risk management, internal control, and governance processes. Joining a dynamic and agile team, you'll have the autonomy to shape your agenda and foster your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute audits on general business and financial controls within the Körber Group
• Conduct independent analysis and assessment of business processes, evaluating the design and effectiveness of embedded control frameworks
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and engage with senior management to discuss findings and necessary actions
• Provide support and consultancy to auditees in implementing corrective actions derived from audits, ensuring their effective implementation
• Contribute to the development of risk-based annual audit plans
• Act as a consultant and contributor to Group-wide projects, such as Finance Digitalization, to enhance our control framework
• Drive the evolution of the control framework at Körber, proposing and implementing control designs and testing regimes to ensure control effectiveness
• Contribute to the advancement of applied audit methodologies, advocating for audit automation and digitalization techniques
Your Profile:
• Hold a successful university degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Controlling, or Corporate Finance
• Possess strong professional expertise in governance and assurance, acquired from a leading professional services firm or corporate environment
• Have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in internal audit, risk management, control functions, external audit, or related disciplines
• Experience with multinational auditing firms is an advantage
• Nice to have external accreditations (e.g., CIA, CISA, CFE)
• Demonstrate experience in global businesses and engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Exhibit a team spirit and a proactive change mindset
• Showcase advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, along with basic SAP knowledge
• Have experience in tool-based data analysis or a keen interest in developing in this area
• Possess full proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Display willingness to travel within Germany, Europe, and internationally (approximately 30%)
