Your role in our team

• You'll be part of a distributed team creating Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for our flagship products, running in AWS and other cloud providers
• You'll participate in an agile software development process based on Scrum, with additional elements of requirements management and formal testing (as is customary in the pharmaceutical industry)
• For each SaaS product release you'll participate in planning, system design, implementation, code review, and formal testing
• You'll deliver Infrastructure as Code and Security by Design in our products, encompassing networking, access control, data management, host administration, and applications
• You'll have the freedom to identify and solve problems in our delivery process and tools
• In your work you'll demonstrate a strong commitment to security, data integrity, quality, reliability, uptime and customer satisfaction
• You’ll take part in third-level support of our customer-facing Cloud Support team

Your profile

• BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Management, or comparable work experience
• 5+ years of experience working in software developmen
• A talent for coding in Python, JavaScript, or other languages
• Familiarity with Git
• Experience with code review, static analysis, continuous integration, and other methods for improving code quality
• Certifications in cloud computing, for example, Cloud Solution Architect or SysOps Administrator
• Experience creating or adapting applications for use in a cloud-based environment
• Experience with a modern infrastructure orchestration tool such as Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Terraform
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, AWS ECS, or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, in particular IP/TCP, HTTP, and DNS
• A demonstrated ability to complete technical tasks on time
• Oral and written communication skills in the English language
