Responsible for all parts related customer interactions – quotes, orders, returns, repairs, warranties, complaints -- within designated territory. Interacts with Korber HQs to gather information needed to support customer. Ensures customer satisfaction and provides professional customer support.

Your role in our team

  • You will maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • You will respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • You will provide customers with quality quotations for parts, accurate stock availability, timely order confirmations, and complete shipping information.
  • You will research, analyze, and prepare incoming orders, verifying that orders include correct part numbers, descriptions, addresses, payment terms, and prices.
  • You will provide customers with prompt and thorough responses and follow-up in all situations, especially machine down occurrences.
  • You will keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • You will communicate and coordinate with internal customers and colleagues.
  • You will work in a team environment to maintain overall company profitability and control costs.
  • You will regularly review orders, check delivery, and avert delays.
  • You will communicate with engineering, technical support, purchasing, European counterparts, etc. to define specifications per customers’ requests.
  • You will coordinate with field service team and European counterparts to ensure parts availability prior to scheduled onsite visits.
  • You will work towards attaining parts sales goals as required in yearly forecast.
  • You will work toward attaining forecasted gross profits on yearly parts sales.
  • You will maintain awareness of new and existing machines within territory to ensure recommended spare parts and maintenance quotes are provided to customers.

Your profile

  • You have an Associates degree in business admin, office admin, or related technical field or
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in business customer support
  • You have great attention to detail
  • You exhibits clear verbal and written communication skills
  • You have display analytical and organizational skills
  • You have a good working knowledge of part numbers
  • You have a strong eagerness to learn and a positive attitude
  • You demonstrates initiative and problem solving skills
  • You demonstrates computer literacy with common computer programs such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-Outlook
