Application Designer

We are looking for a recent college graduate who loves software and technology, but doesn’t like to code; who pays attention to details without losing sight of the big picture; and wants to be a vital part of the production of life saving therapies with our global partners. The ideal candidate will start in a junior position with the opportunity to learn and grow alongside our best in class consulting team. Responsibilities / or Tasks

  • Quickly learn new skills and technologies
  • Help design, document and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
  • Perform client-service duties of medium complexity being the vital link between the customer’s business objectives and Werum’s information technology
  • Support and ensure successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features
  • Investigate client issues (replicate/diagnose/document problems)
  • Constantly seek ways to improve design, documentation and maintenance of manufacturing processes
  • Support validation activities

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • A degree in IT / Computer Science or Life Science field
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Use of MS Office products including Visio
  • Ability to work independently, yearns for challenegs with a desire to “figure things out”
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, life science industry, and manufacturing execution systems preferred
