Senior Manager Sales and Business Consulting (m/f/d)

Werum IT Solutions, an industry leading software firm within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry and part of the Körber Pharma group, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a role as Senior Sales and Business Development Manager in our growing team based in our Dublin Office. The candidate will be responsible for leading the sales of the Werum PAS-X MES platform within our existing and prospective client base as well as the portfolio of complimentary products in the Körber Pharma business.

 

Business Development Manager is responsible for managing the entire life cycle of the sales process from business development activities to grow a sustainable sales funnel to negotiating and closing deals with new and existing customers. As the market leading MES platform within the Life Science sector, this role offers a significant opportunity to a motivated and enthusiastic candidate looking for a long-term career with significant development

 

Your role in our team

 

  • Close collaboration and alignment with the Director of Sales and Operations in Ireland and the EMEA sales team
  • Work within the Körber Pharma guidelines and the EMEA sales team to grow the Ireland and UK revenue base to agreed targets
  • Developing and implementing an agreed sales strategy that accommodates the overall sales strategy of Werum
  • Meet with Clients to present the entire product portfolio of Werum and to clearly and effectively communicate our solution value to business and technical audiences
  • Create and quantify value to our customers by mapping their requirements against the capability of our products. Demonstrate technical products where required to win customer confidence
  • Identify and acquire potential customers, lead new sales acquisitions
  • Develop and implement account strategies for our existing accounts, growing revenue across multiple business types
  • Maintain customer information, account mapping, key contacts and opportunity information in our Salesforce CRM system
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of sales and highlight areas of potential opportunity for revenue growth
  • Deliver sales presentations and represent Körber Pharma at conferences, customer events and online workshops
  • Full sales responsibility from lead generation to final contract negotiation
  • Travel within the UK and Ireland with occasional travel to other Werum and Customer locations as required (approx. 50%)

 

Your profile

 

  • Customer focus with superior listening skills and excellent written and verbal communication capability
  • Team player, comfortable working in a matrix organization to achieve company and personal goals
  • Comfortable working at all levels of customer organization
  • Action orientated and results driven
  • Business acumen and empathy with customer needs and goals
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in a Science or Business Administration Degree is required. Other Engineering qualifications will be considered
  • Knowledge of key IT systems used in manufacturing is an advantage
  • Approximately five (5) years experience in complex automation or IT solutions sales into the Life Science sector
  • Experience with FDA regulated environments (drug production & validation) and sound understanding of pharmaceutical processes and expectations of regulated companies
  • Thorough understanding of the software project life cycle
  • Very good understanding of the Pharmaceutical environment and regulatory authorities including key FDA requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11 and cGMP requirements
