Fargo Automation is active in the pharmaceutical and medical device sector with a focus on the automation of processes for our customers. We develop and engineer machines for handling of syringes and packaging of medical devices from secondary packaging to pallet. We also offer customized automation solutions in these markets.

 

The Automation Technician builds packaging equipment from beginning to end with a high level of quality by applying mechanical and electrical knowledge. Receives direction from experienced technician to ensure the machine is assembled to specifications. All areas of work must be performed with high levels of efficiency. May be required to travel occasionally to assist in initial system setup.

Your role in our team

  • You will build mechanical assemblies according to prints.
  • You will route hoses, wires, and cables in a clean and functional manner.
  • You will determine and report defective materials or questionable conditions to technician in charge of project.
  • You will ensure the customer’s machine has a quality cosmetic appearance upon completion.
  • You will perform basic diagnosis, testing, and repairs.
  • You will pack and crate machinery carefully for shipment.
  • You will display a positive attitude every day.
  • You will promote the company and fellow employees in a positive manner at all times.
  • You will show a strong eagerness to learn.
  • You will show initiative towards excelling with the company.
  • You will clean and organize work area on a daily basis.

 

Your profile

  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • You have experience in manufacturing (this is a plus).
  • You have a two years technical degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Machine Assembly Technology, Automotive, Diesel or similar (this is a plus).
