Responsible for leading the service engineering team in managing the full life cycle of equipment sold by the company. This includes ensuring optimal performance and longevity of installed equipment, providing engineering support for spare part orders, managing retrofit and upgrade programs, and supporting customer satisfaction through technical expertise and innovation.
Your role in our team
- You will Develop and maintain an aftermarket product portfolio in accordance with the Handling and Packaging OEM business as well as install base
- You will maintain and update the overview of installed base for Handling and Packaging division
- You will work with the team to create and validate quotes for assemblies, retro fits, and spare parts lists with input from the necessary department personnel
- You will review the order costs to ensure proper pricing
- You will oversee the engineering support for all phases of equipment life—from installation and commissioning to maintenance, upgrades, and end-of-life planning
- You will lead the team responsible for reviewing and processing customer requests for spare parts, retrofits, and upgrades. Ensure timely and accurate technical assessments and quotations
- You will develop, evaluate, and implement programs for upgrading existing equipment to meet evolving customer needs, regulatory standards, or technological advancements
- You will manage, mentor, and develop a team of service engineers and technical support staff
- You will drive a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus
- You will work closely with Sales, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and After-Sales teams to ensure serviceability and long-term support of equipment
- You will analyze service trends, reliability data, and customer feedback to inform engineering improvements and future product design
Your profile
- You have obtained a bachelor’s degree in engineering related fields (Mechanical, Manufacturing), Business or equivalent work experience
- You have three years’ experience with automation industry experience required
- You have work experience in Project Management and/or Service a plus
