Your role in our team

  • You will handle all aspects of design engineering work, including warranty design issues
  • You will review product design for compliance and engineering principles, company standards, and customer’s requirements
  • You will model purchase parts and custom parts using Pro/E
  • You will present system and the assemblies that make up the system to the customer
  • You will evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
  • You will create concepts, technical descriptions, and cost estimates, for retrofits and part changes
  • You will review technical requirement details to develop proposals that meet customer specifications
  • You will compile budgetary estimates for aftermarket projects in early planning phases, to facilitate customer budgeting processes
  • You will utilize ERP software to ensure accurate sales project & timeline forecasts are given when preparing proposals
  • You will attend sales, project review, design review, and factory acceptance testing meetings in support of retrofit and aftermarket projects
  • You will review and comment customer’s specifications
  • You will select third party equipment and component suppliers
  • You will work with third party suppliers to spec equipment

 

Your profile

  • You have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • You have experience in manufacturing environment with machining and mechanical assembly preferred
  • You must have a valid driver’s license and a record clear of poor violation convictions such as reckless driving or Driving Under the Influence (DUI/DWI) within the past three years or two or more at fault accidents within the past three years
  • You have a minimum of two years packaging design engineering experience required or equivalent
