Your role in our team

 

  • You will lay out back planes of electrical panels
  • You will analyze electrical wiring diagrams for installation and wiring of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, terminal blocks, busbars, wire duct, din rail, AC units, heaters, ethernet cables, etc. 
  • You will wire components on electrical panels
  • You will wire components on enclosures
  • You will install panel back planes into enclosures 
  • You will install dead-front panels into enclosures
  • You will route and label wires to component’s area then they are missing or not available 
  • You will communicate with Controls Designer to clarify any issues or relay any corrections or changes to the electrical design
  • You will track down missing parts/components for panels either through Purchasing or Materials Coordinator 
  • You will stud weld ground bars into the cabinets as needed 
  • You will troubleshoot issues that arise
  • You will operate and maintain necessary machinery and equipment 
  • You will follow production guidelines and specifications to meet on time delivery expectation 
  • You will report any issues to the supervisory on duty 
  • You will follow-up with Controls Technician after validation
  • You will check parts out from stock, as needed
  • You will follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment and tool operation
  • You will maintain a clean and safe work area
  • You will show a strong eagerness to learn and a positive attitude everyday
  • You will travel to customer’s facility to assist in equipment set up
  • You will propose improvements to procedures, as necessary 
  • You will assist Assembly Department in the overall build of equipment
  • You will work on special projects, as needed

 

 Your profile

 

  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Your two-year degree in Electrical is preferred
  • You have two years’ experience building control panels
  • You have experience working safely with 480 volts
  • You understand UL requirements
  • You have the ability to read and follow electrical schematics
  • You demonstrate thorough knowledge of electricity and electrical components
  • You use multimeters and basic hand tools at a skillful level 
  • You have the ability to operate basic power tools
  • You must be able to work independently
