Director Finance EMEA (m/f/d)

We are seeking a results-driven, hands-on and strategic Director Finance EMEA (m/f/d) to join our Region EMEA leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and has proven expertise in restructuring, scaling SaaS software companies, and driving growth in organizations. As the Director Finance EMEA (m/f/d), you will be responsible for financial strategy, operations, and management, collaborating closely with the CFO and senior leadership team in the Region. Given the fact that Region EMEA is the largest territory by Net Sales and EBITA contribution, this role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on Körber Pharma Software’s financial trajectory and growth.

 

Your role in our team

 

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the financial strategy of Körber Pharma Software to ensure alignment with corporate goals. Drive business results through strategic financial planning and effective decision-making.
  • Hands-on Restructuring & Scaling: Lead the restructuring of financial processes and operations, driving operational excellence in all areas of the finance function. Leverage your experience in scaling SaaS software companies to streamline operations and support rapid growth.
  • Profit and Growth Orientation: Focus on maximizing profitability while scaling the business. Ensure robust financial controls, forecasting, and budget management to meet growth targets.
  • Revenue Doubling Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to double revenue and increase profitability. Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to implement strategic initiatives that contribute to financial growth and business expansion.
  • Operational Excellence: Act as an operational leader, ensuring that all financial processes and functions are running efficiently. Oversee cash flow management, tax planning, and ensure operational excellence within the finance department.
  • Deputy to the CEO & Succession Planning: Serve as the deputy to the CEO, supporting in executing corporate vision, strategic decisions, and operational management. Be a potential successor, demonstrating leadership, decision-making capability, and the drive to take the organization to the next level.
  • Regional Financial Oversight: Manage the regional finance function across all Körber Pharma Software locations in EMEA. Ensure proper governance, compliance, and risk management across all countries
  • Collaboration & Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing finance team of up to 10 professionals across multiple European locations. Foster a collaborative environment within the finance team and the broader finance organization. Lead by example with a hands-on, empathetic, and results-driven approach.
  • SAP Expertise: Leverage your expertise in SAP (financial and ERP systems) to drive efficient financial processes, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and streamlined reporting across the organization. Ensure alignment between SAP systems and the company's financial and operational goals.

 

Your profile

 

  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience in financial leadership, with a deep focus on SaaS companies and software development. Extensive experience in restructuring, scaling businesses, and driving profitability in a high-growth, global environment.
  • Track Record of Doubling Revenue: Proven success in doubling revenues and driving scalable, profitable growth in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Operational Excellence & Execution: Strong hands-on experience in leading financial operations and driving operational excellence. Proven ability to streamline financial operations, optimize cash flow, and improve organizational efficiency.
  • Profit & Growth Focused: Exceptional track record in leading profit-oriented initiatives while driving growth, including the execution of business models that align with corporate objectives.
  • International Experience: Extensive experience working in a global business environment, with expertise in managing international financial operations across Europe.
  • Restructuring & SaaS Expertise: Deep expertise in the restructuring of financial operations and growing SaaS companies. Knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities within the software and technology sectors.
  • Leadership & Succession: Ability to provide strategic direction and inspire teams to deliver results.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated ability to work closely with customers, ensuring that financial operations support long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven experience leading a finance team of professionals. Expertise in building a high-performing, cohesive team and driving collaboration across the organization.
  • SAP Expertise: Deep experience working with SAP financial systems, ensuring seamless integration of financial processes and reporting. Ability to leverage SAP tools for data analysis, forecasting, and financial strategy.
  • Political Savvy & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong political acumen, capable of working within complex organizational structures. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Education: A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA or CFA preferred).
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required, with additional languages (e.g., German, Spanish, French) considered a plus.
