Working Student (m/f/d) Cloud Engineering
Your role in our team
- Be part of a distributed team creating Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for our flagship products, running in AWS, Azure and other cloud providers
- Participate in an agile software development process based on Scrum
- Be actively involved in all stages of development: requirements, system design, implementation, code review, and formal testing
- Follow principles of Infrastructure as Code and Security by Design in the integration of networking, access control, data management, host administration, and applications
- Identify and solve problems in our delivery process and tools
- Demonstrate commitment to security, data integrity, quality, reliability and customer satisfaction
Your profile
- A registered student (m/f/d) in computer science, information technology or a similar course of study, who is not on a holiday semester
- A talent for coding in Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages
- Familiarity with Git, code review, and continuous integration
- Basic knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud computing
- Basic knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals, in particular TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS
- Interest in software development with a focus on creating and adapting applications for service in a cloud computing environment
- Interest in mastering cloud orchestration tools such as Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Terraform
- A passion for new technologies and cloud services
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Knowledge of German is an advantage
