Werum is seeking a Technical Lead on PAS-X, its MES dedicated to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry.

As Technical lead, you are integrated in the local project teams working closely with the project managers and consultants. You are the main interface between the local project teams and the Global teams (Global hubs) supplying services to the local project teams. In this key role, you will translate the functional needs into technical specifications provided to different Global teams and follow-up with the teams responsible up to the delivery and acceptance of the resulting deliverables. The position is based in Toulouse or Lyon with trips to France and abroad.

 

Tasks

 

  • Participation in a project team that supports our customers from the gap analysis to the commissioning of PAS-X
  • In cooperation or support of Consultants:
    • Rapid assessment of the processes and procedures of our pharmaceutical customers and mapping to our standard processes and functions as well as process consulting for optimizing and adapting processes to PAS-X
    • Recording and evaluation of user requirements (e.g. creation of fit verifications for the software to be used) and management of corresponding workshops
    • Execution / support of validation workshops
    • Consulting, coaching, training of the customer in the use of PAS-X as well as GoLive support
  • With support of Werum Subject Matter Experts (DPP -Digital Plant Products-, DFO -Digital Factory & Operations-, Global Hubs) assessment of technical feasibility, design of solution, specification of customer-specific adaptations
  • Creation / adaptation of lifecycle documents (e.g. Functional Specification, Functional Risk Impact Assessment, FAT-SAT test specifications, list of requirements in the Change Specifications)
  • Technical design (and sometimes conception) of project-specific adaptations
  • Interface between the regional project teams and the Subject Matter Experts and Global Hubs on project-specific adaptations from assessment of the adaptations to their acceptance (specifications, development follow-up, coordination with the remote teams responsible …)
  • Technical analysis and solution on maintenance cases in cooperation with Application Support and DPP
  • Active participation in the continuous improvement of our SDLC processes

 

Qualifications

 

  • 5 to 15 years of software experience with large scale applications (ERP/MES/LIMS) in a development / technical / consulting / support role
  • Experience with regulated industries (nuclear, finance …) ideally with pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments (FDA, GMP, non-GMP, system validation and qualification)
  • Experience in MES; PAS-X experience would be a plus
  • A Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required
  • Technical knowledge:
    • Good knowledge of the conception and development of enterprise applications (micro services) and system architectures
    • Knowledge of Java (JEE, Spring, Hibernate / JPA, Vaadin) and Docker
    • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
    • Experience in DDD, OO, UML
  • Experience in development tools (Eclipse, Subversion, Git, Docker, Jira) and automated tests (JUnit, GUI)
  • Service oriented mindset and autonomy
  • Ability for team work in an international environment
  • Languages : French (fluent), English (professional), German would be a plus
