We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Application Architect looking to work for an industry leading Software Firm within the Pharmaceutical Industry. Application Architects play a critical role in the design, build and deployment of our MES solution PAS-X and work closely with clients’ process experts and the internal development team to ascertain successful completion of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer manufacturing processes and map them into Werum’s PAS-X MES software
  • Organize and carry out user requirement, process and system design workshops
  • Analyze the technical feasibility of customer-specific adaptions together with a team of technical experts
  • Create/adjust life cycle documents (e.g. URS, functional specifications, and functional risk & impact assessment)
  • Consult and coach the customer and the project team in practical usage of the product
  • Build up, maintain, and provide process and application expertise for internal or external products/platforms
  • Assist the project management team in project planning and execution

Experience & Qualifications

  • Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A bachelor of science degree in a science or computer science field is required
  • Some professional experience, in particular in the field of designing and providing consulting for deploying complex systems in the life science industry
  • Process experience in the life science industry and GMP
  • The ideal candidate should have some experience with MES applications in a consulting role or as a process expert in the life science industry
