We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to play a crucial role in shaping and implementing cutting-edge solutions that drive operational excellence, scalability, and reliability.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our agile team, contributing to the operational health, deployment, and lifecycle of technology and platform solutions.in Körber Pharma Software.

1. Your role in our team

• Designing and implementing complex backend systems and architectures.
• Leading and mentoring junior developers, providing guidance and technical expertise.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project scope.
• Conducting thorough code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Optimizing and enhancing existing backend systems for improved performance and scalability.
• Researching and implementing new technologies and frameworks to drive innovation.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of backend systems.
• Share lessons learned, best practices, and how-to’s within internal and external communities of practice.
• Provide subject-matter expertise and help design solutions across hybrid and/or multi-cloud implementations.

2. Your profile

• 6+ years’ experience as a backend developer, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable systems.
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages e.g C#,Java, Golang, elixir, Rust, Python, Others and related technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Frameworks like Spring Boot, Rest, GraphQL and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• In-depth understanding of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL.
• Strong knowledge of system design principles, software architecture patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with performance optimization, security, and scalability of backend systems.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to coach and onboard junior and professional team members.
• Drive small to medium-sized cross-team engineering initiatives.

Nice to have

• Frontend Skills using Javascript, Typescript, Vue || React || Angular.
• Experience with other languages like Golang, Python, Node, etc.
• Familiarity with Middleware Architecture or Message Queues (Kafka & RabbitMQ is a plus).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Travis, Circle CI, Jenkins, etc.
