Senior Manager Sales & Business Consulting (m/f/d) - Italy

Werum IT Solutions, an industry leading software firm within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry and part of the business area Pharma within Körber group, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a role as Senior Sales and Business Development Manager in our growing team based in Italy. The candidate will be responsible for leading the sales of the Werum PAS-X MES platform within our existing and prospective client base as well as the portfolio of complimentary products in the Körber Pharma business. Your role in our team

  • You assume responsibility for sales in EMEA with focus on the Italian market from lead generation to final contract negotiations
  • You will work within the Körber Pharma guidelines and the EMEA sales team to grow the Italy revenue base to agreed targets
  • You are in charge of developing and implementing an agreed sales strategy that accommodates the overall sales strategy of Werum and Körber Pharma
  • Meeting with Clients to present the entire product portfolio of Werum and to clearly and effectively communicate our solution value to business and technical audiences
  • Creating and quantifying value to our customers by mapping their requirements against the capability of our products
  • Identifying and acquiring potential customers, leading new sales acquisitions
  • Developing and implementing account strategies for our existing accounts, growing revenue across multiple business types
  • Maintaining customer information, account mapping, key contacts and opportunity information in our Salesforce CRM system
  • Developing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts and highlighting areas of potential opportunity for revenue growth
  • Delivering sales presentations and represent Körber Pharma at conferences, customer events and workshops

 

Your profile            

  • You have obtained a degree (bachelor / masters) in science or business administration, or offer a comparable background in engineering
  • You have gained about years’ experience in complex automation or IT solutions sales into the Life Science sector
  • You are experienced in working with or selling to FDA regulated environments (drug production & validation) and have a sound understanding of pharmaceutical processes and expectations of regulated companies
  • You have a thorough understanding of the software project life cycle, knowledge of key IT systems used in life science manufacturing is an advantage
  • You are comfortable with working at all levels of the customer organization
  • You offer a strong customer focus with superior listening skills and excellent written and verbal communication capability
  • You are a highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working in a matrix organization to achieve company and personal goals
  • You are energetic and enthusiastic, and stay persistent in pursuing sales leads
  • You are open to travel, mainly within Italy, but with occasional travel to other Werum and customer locations as required (approx. 50%)
