Vice President Global Key Account Management (m/f/d)
To build and to strengthen our business with international Pharma customers we are looking for a Vice President Global Key Account Management (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible date. We are looking for a dedicated personality with experience in management and development of global key customers in the pharmaceutical industry.
Your role in our team
- Build and maintain contact and close relationship with key customers (decision makers, all relevant interfaces, buying center, local head of sites)
- Establish regular information exchange on executive level with procurement and engineering
- Positioning Körber Pharma as ‘customer's first choice’
- Identify new business opportunities and approaches with the key customers
- Prepare, perform and follow-up of technology and business review meetings
- Monitor the global activities of the key customers and competitors position
- Act as a single point of contact through a defined escalation path
- Define & implement a Key Account Development plan including measures/target sales (new business with key customers) to increase the customer satisfaction and market share
- Increase business intelligence, visit relevant global facilities and merge feedback
- Structuring, negotiation and closing of frame agreements or preferred supplier agreements
- Manage and functional lead a small global Key Account team
- Define and track measures and initiatives to develop the account further together with the Key Account team
- Close cooperation with local sales organizations and partners
- Drive information flow and messaging towards external and internal customers
- Align activities and stay close with the individual head of sales of each Körber Pharma company
- Leverage internal synergies, also across Business Units
- Provide input for overall global product strategy
- Consolidate key customer requirements (product and process requirements, key customer standards)
Your profile
- Several years of experience in technical sales or Key Account Management roles, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- High cross-cultural competence
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or comparable education, ideally with technical background
- Experience in managing customer contacts and projects within area of highly matrixed internal and external organizations
- Willingness to travel extensively, both locally and globally (about 50%)
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Digital capabilities and experience are an advantage
- Using of leading CRM systems
- Strong business acumen, strong ability for networking and leadership, distinct communication and negotiation skills
