Körber Pharma Packaging Materials US is in search of a skilled Facilities and Maintenance Lead to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and preventive maintenance. The incumbent will also be responsible for applying basic fixes to the building, its systems and equipment and ensure the facility is tidy and functional. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

 

Your role in our team

  • You will perform preventative maintenance on printing presses, die cutters, folder/gluers, bindery equipment, HVAC, boiler systems, and other production equipment.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaboration with operators and outside repair services—both onsite and through remote diagnostics—is expected.
  • You will order repair parts and manage the spare‑parts inventory.
  • Accurate tracking and electronic documentation of all repairs is required.
  • Basic fabrication and welding may be performed as needed.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment is essential.
  • Oversight of building maintenance contracts and coordination with outside vendors is part of the role.
  • You will assign tasks, monitor progress, and mentor or train maintenance team members.

 

Your profile

  • You have a high school diploma or GED.
  • You have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with a strong preference for high‑speed printing or packaging environments.
  • You have experience with Heidelberg and Bobst equipment.
  • You have solid knowledge of HVAC, boiler systems, and LOTO procedures.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and working with PLCs and sensor‑driven components are key responsibilities.
  • Lean Six Sigma or 5S methodologies may be leveraged to enhance efficiency.
