Regional Sales Manager

Your role in our team

  • You manage sales process of new Körber Pharma equipment within the specified region
  • You present Körber Pharma products to prospective customers together with subject matter experts from division product teams
  • You work with customer organizations and internal teams to qualify leads and convert to real sales opportunities
  • You manage the offer creation process in collaboration with division subject matter experts and internal stake holders.
  • You lead negotiation process to close respective deals
  • You map target customer organizations within region and identify key contacts to extend sales reach
  • You travel to customer and prospect locations for onsite meetings (approx. 40-60%); focus area will be within region, but extended travel may occur
  • You participate in onsite division trainings, workshops or other activities at division headquarters (Germany, Switzerland and USA)
  • You drive new business development at prospective customers within region
  • You collaborate with North America and Global Sales teams to better serve the industry and customer base
  • You support marketing activities within region and North America
  • You participate in trade shows and conferences
  • You show a strong eagerness to learn and a positive attitude everyday
  • You work on special projects as needed
  • You take responsibility across divisions for assigned tasks and topics

 

Your profile

  • Your Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Business Administration is required
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales to life science industry
  • You have experience with automated manufacturing and/or packaging equipment used in pharmaceutical environment
  • You have knowledge of the regulated life science industry
  • You understand digital sales and marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce)
  • You demonstrate excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, as well as persuasive presentation skills in English
  • You display a consultative selling approach
  • Your understanding of modern systems and knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing concepts is preferred
  • Your knowledge of additional language such as German, Spanish or French is a plus
  • You exhibit a self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • You possess strong relationship-building skills
  • You are able to work within a matrix organization
  • You display persistent in pursuing sales leads with a strong hunter mindset
  • You show a desire to learn new technology
  • You are able to travel up to 70% of the year
