The Senior Structural Designer will provide innovative, structurally sound packaging solutions promptly for customers in the Pharmaceutical and retail product industries. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and effectively communicating cost-effective solutions with customers, external vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Your role in our team

  • As part of a collaborative team, you will create high-end structural designs for folding cartons and structural marketing materials, ensuring all designs meet customer specifications and standards
  • You will participate in customer planning meetings and deliver 3D renderings and physical packaging prototypes for presentations
  • You will provide die lines for clients, prepress, and estimating, and organize/manage all digital die lines
  • You will efficiently lay out tooling for in-house equipment and work within all established protocols and procedures—while helping develop new processes as needed
  • You will work closely with design team members to identify and develop the best possible packaging solutions, clearly communicating design decisions and detailed production requirements
  • You will maintain clear organization of large, ongoing projects involving multiple components and revisions

 

Your profile 

  • You have a solid understanding of the entire design process—from concept and prototyping to production—including finishing processes such as die cutting and gluing
  • You have knowledge and experience in ArtiosCAD, and steel rule die layouts are required
  • You have familiarity with 3D programs is a plus 
  • You can multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while professionally representing the company in customer-facing project planning meetings

  • Your annual base pay range for this role is estimated to be $90,000-$100,000 at the time of posting
