Director Strategic Alliances EMEA

You will be part of the Strategic Alliances team, charged with identifying, establishing & cultivating business relationships with industry-leading companies to bring unique high-impact partnership opportunities to market. This role will direct ongoing strategic alliance activities with outside vendors and conduct the evaluation of companies or products for sales agreements or co-promotion as well as consult on the most complex projects and maintain working relationships within all of the Supply Chain Execution departments.


Your role in our team


  • Manage strategic alliances with the largest and most business critical outside vendors.
  • Seek out appropriate vendors for partnerships and alliances
  • Maintain business relationships with executives of other companies
  • Direct the tactical execution of partnerships and alliances
  • Develop an understanding of alliance partner’s business, strategy, operations, technology and goals
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with the peer managers in sales and with the business development team
  • Understand the competitive landscape and assess strategic opportunities
  • Evaluate other companies or products for acquisition.
  • Establish short-term and long-term goals and performance metrics in line with SCE objectives
  • Oversee go-to-market strategies with the partner community.
  • Assess performance of partner relationships against goals
  • Contribute toward the revenue and growth margin targeted in the business plan via new business Partnership
  • Track, report and manage alliance business performance (leads, pipeline and bookings)
  • Work with sales, marketing and operations team to effectively develop and manage business partner projects and partnerships
  • Drive awareness of our company through industry focused events, tradeshows, etc.


Your profile


7-10+ years’ experience in sales, market management, product management or consulting with most current knowledge of the industry and current trends

  •  Outstanding relationship and influence leadership skills working with internal and external parties
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to drive successful results in a fast-paced international environment with white space
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in the Supply Chain space required
  • Understanding of partner eco-systems and experience working with strategic alliances (Big 4, Management Consulting, GSI) preferred
  • Strong external network of relationships in relevant industries
  • Education: Bachelor or master’s degree in Business, Sales or Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bonus if you have experience in working with GSIs (Global Systems Integrators) such as Accenture, McKinsey, Deloitte, Oracle, etc.
