Your role in our team

  • Support the Körber strategic planning process, collaborate closely with the other marketing functions, and align with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Define go-to-market strategies and tactics for new and existing products and services in the Enterprise & 3PL business leveraging global programs and activities
  • Develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads. Manage the lead and opportunity management process for the competency area and provide regular business impact reporting and analysis
  • Lead a team of two FTEs as well as additional interns to develop a digital-first strategy across multiple countries, and coach the team to excel at digital demand generation
  • Monitor and drive all individual and team performance goals through effective line management
  • Enable salespeople with marketing assets to accelerate the customer buying journey and improve win rates
  • Create installed base marketing strategies and activities to promote customer retention, advocacy and solution penetration
  • Maximize synergy with the global shared services teams (digital experience & innovation, product marketing & strategy and corporate communications & brand) to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Work with target partners on strategies and plans to increase joint revenues and market share
  • Continue to develop a strong communications database with key influencers, decision-makers and buying groups in defined target markets


Your profile

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded marketing professional with both “hands-on” and “big-picture” focused and must be able to effectively interface and align with prospects, partners, customers, sales, marketing, product development and external vendors. Key qualifications and experience include the following:


  • Native German speaker and fluent in English.
  • At least 3 years of experience in enterprise software companies, marketing value-add software and services solutions to high-end customers focusing on the various marketing activities outlined above.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading digital marketing initiatives.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience with marketing automation preferably combining Marketo and Salesforce
  • Experience in the logistics / supply chain industry is a big plus; but more important is the ability to quickly absorb new information about our technologies and solutions and apply it to select target markets.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple ongoing activities, meet tight timelines and deliver clear results to ensure respect of marketing across the organization.
  • Experience working across multiple countries, and ability/flexibility to work within an international environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to present strategic information to large groups of professionals inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to strategically plan, develop and implement tactics and activities in multiple locations.
  • Ability to lead and manage independently, while working collaboratively with all levels of employees and customers in a global matrix management environment.
  • Must have a Bachelors or Master’s Degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant business, marketing or technology related to Körber’s solutions.
  • Ability to mentor and coach team members
