Your main role is to establish modern and dialogue oriented international internal communications for our Business Area Supply chain. Key objective of the role is to communicate the company’s goals effectively and clearly so that every individual can understand how they can contribute to making Körber a successful, esteemed partner of the customers we serve in various industries. This includes clever and state-of-the-art communication concepts, further development of tools and channels for numerous initiatives, change projects and day-to-day business exchange with more than 2,600 employees around the world. You will align strategies and tactics directly with the Business Area CEO, while working closely with a global executive and expert team including colleagues from all Körber Business Areas and the Group Communication team.

 

You can contribute strongly via

  • Developing and constantly evolving an active, long-term-oriented internal communications strategy
  • Implementing this strategy with tactics that ensure active dialogue and engagement with our colleagues around the globe – i.e. with new, innovative measures to engage and promote two-way communication amongst employees
  • Creating and implementing formats (incl. video, internal social media, podcasts etc.). that serve the full portfolio of internal communications channels matching employee needs to foster dialogue across the organization (i.e. via employee app / intranet, magazines, regular email bulletins or newsletters)
  • Planning, editing and deploying content for all formats and channels
  • Preparing strong messaging for the different communication formats and channels to ensure our organizational initiatives, projects and changes are successfully communicated with employees also via consistent messaging across the organization
  • Efficiently handling day-to-day communication (personnel changes, office updates, crisis communication or other elements of change communication) and other communication needs as they arise
  • Develop employer branding communication strategy and implement employer branding campaigns together with our HR team
  • Establish KPI and evaluation measures to assess employee engagement understanding of key topics

 

Your profile

  • You have a degree in economics, communication management, journalism, or a comparable qualification
  • You have more than 5 years of professional experience and a proven track record in the position of an internal communication manager for an international company - experience in the supply chain business would be appreciated
  • You have broad experience in strategically building and actively maintaining an engaging internal communications portfolio
  • You have profound knowledge and proven experience in change and crisis communications
  • You have excellent languages skills (incl. journalistic writing and presenting) in English and German and an engaging, activating style. In case you speak more languages that would be beneficial for the job
  • You are a team player with a strong a hands-on mentality and a goal-oriented, independent way of working
  • You have a strong entrepreneurial mindset – you like taking initiative and seeking creative solutions
  • You have an outgoing personality combined with high social sensitivity. This includes strong skills in building consensus out of heterogeneous interests and you are a pro in problem solving and analytical thinking
  • You quickly grasp complex issues and handling multiple projects while working with tight deadlines is no extra challenge for you
  • You are a networker, and collaborate constructively across organizational and cultural differences and you are experienced in working in matrix structures
