Körber currently has a full-time position open for a Cloud Network Operator L1 to work in our Minneapolis, MN or Colorado Springs, CO office. Remote is an option for qualified candidates. You will have a proven track record in supporting Cloud Operations securely for our customers and will have a superior understanding of cloud operations. You will work for the SaaS Migration Team; a fast-paced team of highly technical employees tasked with delivering world class cloud offerings to brand name recognizable customers.


The successful candidate will have a proven ability to be self-motivated, perform effectively under minimum supervision, and driven to deliver world class services and operational improvement. This position requires a person who takes pride in the commitment to the position with a high degree of professionalism.



Your Role on Our Team

  • You will provide effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and other related Cloud infrastructure located within Körber’s Cloud infrastructure.

  • You will be heavily involved in Architectural decision making, and providing recommendations based on knowledge and past experience.

  • You will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and security mechanisms adhere to best practices and organizational standards.

  • You will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation and automation.

  • You will provide strong influence in technical project teams to evaluate and implement new solutions

  • You will utilize various automation, monitoring, and service management tools & techniques to troubleshoot issues and perform performance tuning.

  • You will act as an escalation point to Business Unit product support groups for Cloud related issues.

  • You will support our services and support teams on cloud related issues.

  • You will participate with on-hours and after-hours cloud activities.

  • You will prioritize cloud project work the priority of decreasing manual activities.

  • You will provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.



Your Profile

  • You have a Technical Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.

  • You have 3+ years of experience administering AWS, Azure, OCI, and CenturyLink cloud.

  • You have 5+ years of experience as the principal administrator, Windows OS, Domain controllers, Firewalls, Monitoring tools, Disaster recovery software.

  • You have advanced knowledge of common protocols including LAN / WAN, subnetting, VLANs, IPSec VPN, BGP, IDP, QoS, LUNs, RAID, iSCSI technologies.

  • You understand SQL Server 2016 or later and associated troubleshooting and performance tuning techniques.

  • You have experience with multiple Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, IIS, Systems Center, and common server OSs including Server 2012 R2.

  • You are proficient in Enterprise Disaster recovery tools.

  • You have automation & scripting experience with PowerShell, Systems Center Orchestrator, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MCSE certified

  • CCSP certified

  • Certified in any of the following; Cisco Firewall, VMWare, Microsoft, Linux, Azure, AWS, OCI Körber/HighJump software experience.
