The general objective is to make the overall solution design process more efficient by defining, selecting and implementing one standard software solution for design. This will focus on layout-based (“CAD type”) software with added intelligence and a catalogue of drawing elements. The software should also interface with other processes such as cost calculations, manufacturing, automation and simulation. The program manager will lead the initiative, align with stakeholders and manage the project team.


Your role in our team

Lead the sales tool chain program

  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, budget, schedule and organization
  • Manage all activities related to the project, including coordinating all activities done by internal and external resources (many of those will be “part-time” allocated to the project), as well as the project budget & reporting


Define & align the detailed requirements for the software solution

  • Investigate and understand the KSCA product portfolio and the current ways of working and the tools used at each relevant KSCA entity. This includes any existing process integrations, such as with costing or manufacturing systems
  • Investigate and understand tools available on the market, and best practices in the industry (i.e. at competitors, suppliers or partners)
  • Document all requirements, prioritize them and align with all stakeholders
  • Recommend on a plan including scope and priorities, based on cost/benefits

Manage the roll-out of the tool set within KSCA

  • Select and manage the suppliers required
  • Form and manage a team of developers, key-users and testers consisting of KSCA employees from the different entities as well as external support


Be the super user for the tool (during the program, until handover)

  • Create and provide training to users of the toolchain
  • Where practical / relevant, it could be that you will be developing some of the content (component library) yourself


Ensure proper embedding into the organization

  • In alignment with management, set-up a support organization consisting of super-users, IT persons and possibly external specialists. Define and manage a “change board” for adding new features to the toolset


Your profile

  • You successfully graduated from technical studies with master’s degree, preferably in computer science or similar
  • Alternatively, a study in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or technical management can be considered, if combined with demonstratable relevant experience in Software development and project management
  • Experience with software implementation is required, as well as in project management
  • You have a good working knowledge of CAD systems, preferably AutoCad and several others
  • Previous experience in material handling industry or custom-engineered products is beneficial
  • You can switch between abstract thinking, managing and being hands-on
  • You have the ability to communicate with all different kind of stakeholders, from engineers to head of departments, sales managers and customers
  • You have excellent communication skills and are business fluent level in English, German will be beneficial
