An opportunity now exists within our Information Technology department for a confident, results-focused professional to provide applications development, support and administration. The IT Applications Developer develops new software applications and web services in support of the business, along with maintaining and improving existing applications. This role works with internal stakeholders while designing, building, and implementing new applications, web pages and web sites; integrating sites with back end applications; and performing day-to-day administration of the organization’s web portfolio to improve efficiency of business operations. This position utilizes ASP, ASP.NET, .NET CORE, PowerShell, C#, JavaScript, SharePoint and MS SQL.



  • Installation, configuration, and administration of web services and vendor-supplied application software
  • Administration, tuning, and maintenance of Windows Server Operating Systems 2008-2019
  • Administration, tuning, and maintenance of SQL servers ranging from 2005-2019
  • Works closely with the IT Applications Developer as part of the Applications team.
  • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the company's business applications
  • Develop, test, and modify application software to improve efficiency of business operations
  • Support basic aspects of web systems (intranet and extranet) including coding, release, and maintenance
  • Create new and update existing Active Directory tools to automate, streamline tasks, and optimize workflow
  • Migration and consolidation of SharePoint farms outside the HighJump domain
  • Meet with other departments that have application based needs as well as customers and technology vendors as needed
  • Formulate procedures and best practices for users of applications
  • Perform business analysis to define system requirements
  • SharePoint 2007-2019 administration/configuration
  • Acquire and enhance applications expertise, keeping up with evolving applications, server systems, and database technology
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application-related issues



  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS or computer related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience developing applications using all or a combination of ASP, ASP.NET, .NET CORE, PowerShell, C#, JavaScript, and MS SQL.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint administration and design
  • Solid communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently within a matrixed organization



  • Certification in Computer Science
