We have a full time position available for a Manager of Professional Services in our Supply Chain Execution business unit. The Manager of Professional Services is responsible for the overall success of their projects and assigned project team members. Project success will be achieved through resource assignment, scheduling, customer relationships and solid decision making. This role not only maintains customer relationships, but also manages and mentors team members to achieve project success and level growth. The person in this role will play a critical role in managing team members while maintaining an environment of learning, development and career growth. 


Your role in our team

  • You ensure overall project success, solution architecture and solution quality

  • You maintain an expert level of understanding of the products and technologies used to deliver customer solutions

  • You provide project strategy and tactics to achieve success

  • You monitor project progress, budget, billings, status, and schedule for all team projects

  • You participate in the sales process; when needed, providing solution designs and service quotations

  • You lead and facilitate project kick off, resource assignment, and scheduling

  • You develop and maintain management level relationship with customers

  • You escalate project issues and ensure resolution in a timely manner

  • You ensure task hand offs and definition of done (DODs) are occurring and are effective

  • You conduct facility walk through and assessments

  • You display high standards of professional conduct

  • You will be responsible for monthly team forecast

  • You manage and mentor team members to achieve project success and level growth

  • You maintain resource schedule for services team to achieve target utilizations

  • You participate in new hire interviews, screening, selection and final offers

  • You onboard and train new hires to achieve utilization ramp up plan

  • You perform touch-bases with direct reports using 2 Weeker format

  • You participate in performance review discussions among management and lead semi-annual performance review meetings with team members

  • You will be responsible for additional duties as assigned


Your profile

  • You will travel as needed (5% to 25%), required

  • You have 3-5 years of demonstrated solution architect experience, required

  • You have 2+ years of people management experience achieving target utilization, required

  • You have 2+ years of project management experience, required

  • You have strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task

  • You have a BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Administration, Operations or related field, preferred
