The SVP of Product Strategy will be responsible for collaboratively defining and driving portfolio strategy, positioning, and roadmap. This position is responsible for leading a team of product managers, product owners, and enablement / learning resources. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role works closely with the global executive suite to emphasize data driven approaches to portfolio management, and to align the capabilities of the Körber portfolio with the needs of customers, prospects, and coworkers. 


Your role in our team

  • You will work collaboratively with global executive suite partners including CEO, CTO, and CMO to develop a portfolio vision that aligns with the trajectory of the market and supports the overall business strategy of Körber Supply Chain
  • You will deliver a multi year portfolio strategy and lead a diverse group of creative product managers in developing roadmaps to support the realization of the portfolio vision within each product
  • You will collaborate with regional leadership teams to align key capabilities in the portfolio with the unique needs and requirements of the diverse customer and prospect community
  • You will assist in driving excellence in market messaging and sales enablement by developing best in class collateral, thought leadership, and other key deliverables to effectively communicate new developments and future goals within the product family
  • You will work in partnership with development leadership to balance roadmap plans between technical and functional needs
  • You will manage product lifecycle from opportunity assessment, business and competitive analysis, requirements definition, pricing, development, to marketing and launch
  • You will partner with the sales and portfolio marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies to win targeted customer segments and create end-to-end operational plans to profitably grow and scale the business
  • You will manage, recruit, develop and retain a global and diverse team of talented product management professionals
  • You will define, monitor, and report on appropriate operational and financial KPIs and metrics to ensure transparency throughout the organization
  • You will participate in the strategic development of new partnerships, lines of business, or acquisitions to ensure both organic and inorganic levers for growth are aligned with our portfolio vision
  • You will manage key technology partners and participate in strategic negotiations to align the needs of the business with crucial profitability and legal considerations


 Your profile

  • You have 15+ years leading Product Strategy and Product Management organizations (at least 7 years in an executive / VP role)
  • You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, relevant technical field or equivalent work experience
  • You have strong evangelism and public speaking skills, including familiarity in analyst and media relations
  • You have experience developing strategic guidance and recommendations and presenting to a board as required
  • You have expertise in transforming portfolios to SaaS based offerings
  • You have proven qualities for leading distributed teams in NA, EME and Asia (Culturally and Operationally).
  • You have the ability to manage the day to day activities indirectly through all levels of an organization, including VPs, Managers, and Team Leads
  • You have experience in modern product management practices such as Pragmatic
  • You have strong familiarity with P&L accountability and budgeting
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have knowledge of supply chain warehousing concepts and knowledge of Körber Supply Chain products is a plus
