Sr. Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

 

Tasks

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Deliver a revenue forecast and roadmap
  • Communicate customer requirements consistently and concisely with product development and product owners
  • Partner with field marketing team to deliver product management content necessary for product collateral and customer webinars
  • Establish and facilitate product governance
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
  • Brief press and analysts and represent HighJump in trade conferences

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' Product Manager experience
  • Pragmatic Marketing Certification Level IV
  • 5+ years' experience configuring / implementing supply chain execution software - Warehouse Management, Labor Management, Yard Management, Transportation Management and Parcel Manifesting, Network Design, Mobile Technologies - RF, RFID, Voice, Printing, Analytics and Reporting
  • 5+ years' experience with parcel manifesting solutions with expertise in global parcel carrier compliance
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching products
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, planning and time management skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build consensus across inter-organizational teams and the ability to excite an audience through evangelism
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time
